Overview
Silvie, a cafe in Oxford, needed a poster to promote their upcoming 'Cook with Fire' event.
The poster needed to reflect the character of Silvie. Simple, organic, handmade food.
Concept
To match up with the character of Silvie, rough hand set copy and a collage of bold shapes and colours with a printed texture were used to give a handmade feel. This approach helped to achieve Silvie's aesthetic, while creating a strong, playful poster.
In an ideal world this would have been Linocut and hand printed, but time restrictions meant a digital approach had to be taken.

Development
Due to the success of the event the Cook with Fire event identity developed into the branding for the Cook with Fire team. This enabled them to have a strong brand presence of their own and allowed the event to develop further.
