Hi, I'm Edd. I'm a designer based in London. I have 10 years industry experience, in both in-house and agency roles working across a broad range of clients including John Lewis, Which?, Morrisons, Whitbread Group, Bombtrack Bicycle Co. HTC & Disaronno, spanning work from social media & eCRM campaigns to website concept & design.
I’m passionate about putting the user first. The way people interact with design should be considered at every stage of the design process, not just left to testing at the end.
Freelance Design & art Direction

Wieden + Kennedy Creative Placement
September 2007 - December 2007
As part of a 4 person creative team I had the chance to work on a variety of briefs including poster design for Spitalfields Market, ideas generation for Visa, test films for Emeco & several internal interactive briefs. Responsibilities ranged from ideas generation to walking a giant helium filled balloon through London.
Things I have learned along the way
- Reach for the pencil & paper before the Wacom Tablet & Photoshop.
- Working closely with a copywriter yields better results every time. (I would never have thought of using ‘yields’).
- Developers have great ideas too, they don’t just code. Often their input is the most valuable.
